Heat Resistant Latex Rubber Threads
These threads can withstand high processing temperatures. At least 85% of the modulus is retained after being exposed to 150 degree centigrade for two hours. Normal threads, on the other hand, cannot retain more than 50% modulus. Heat resistant threads come with a shorter shelf life and should not be stored for more than 6 months.
Diaper Threads
Rubber threads help the diapers to stay firm in its position. To make good quality diapers, the most significant constituent is the elastomer attached in the diaper. By using good quality threads, the diapers can have an anatomical shape providing a better liquid barrier.
Applications
Hosiery applications are the prime section where rubber threads are used. Latex rubber threads are mainly used to manufacture various types of elastic tapes primarily for foundation garments, shorts, skirts, pants, sportswear, sock tops, etc. They are also used in elastic tapes for diapers, headbands, wristbands, shoe uppers and travel goods.
Rubber threads are used in making fishing baits and in pole fishing as well. Coloured rubber threads are also used in fishing baits and in pole fishing. For toys like Koosh balls and doll hair, Coloured rubber threads are used. Some other applications of Coloured rubber threads include medical nettings, braids, laces, cords, etc.
Application Chart
The count/ gauge of rubber threads are the measure of its diameter or thickness. Normally, rubber threads are referred to in terms of the count.
